Programme overview
The location is Valencia, Spain. The targeted participants are students who are studying as an ostler at FM KASZK Táncsics Mihály Vocational School of Agriculture in years 10-11. It is a short term activity, the duration is 19+2 days. The working hours for students under 18 is 7 hours a day, for students over 18 it is 8 hours a day, in accordance with the labour law. Their workplaces will be farmlands where they will work in groups of 2-3 people.
Daily programme
introducing the workplace and its rules, meeting with the technicians, education about labour safety
doing technical practices, which may include the following activities:
- taking care of horses
- using and maintaining tools
- using horses in tourism
- riding a horse
closing the technical activities, evaluating the achievements of the students in accordance with their own and their teachers’ opinion.

Free time and study
In the afternoon there is a one hour period, when they write their reports, and talk about their progress. In the remaining free time in the afternoons and at the weekends the students participate in recreational and cultural activities based on their interests.
