Programme overview
The location is Valencia, Spain. The targeted participants are students who are studying at either FM KASZK Táncsics Mihály Vocational School of Agriculture, Varga Márton Vocational School of Horticulture and Landscaping, Dr. Szepesi László Vocational School of Forestry in years 10-14.
It is a short term programme, the duration is 19+2 days. Their workplaces will be farmlands where they will work in groups of 2-3 people. The working hours for students under 18 is 7 hours a day, for students over 18 it is 8 hours a day, in accordance with the labour law.
Daily programme
introducing the workplace and its rules, meeting the technicians, education about labour safety
doing technical practices, which may include the following activities:
- tillage
- harvesting
- taking care of the crop
- operating agricultural machines
- feeding and taking care of animals
- selling products
closing the technical activities, evaluating the achievements of the students in accordance with their own and their teachers’ opinion.

Free time and study
In the afternoon there is a one hour period, when they write their reports, and talk about their progress. In the remaining free time in the afternoons and at the weekends the students participate in recreational and cultural activities based on their interests.
